Course Description and Tuition
Course Description:This two-day course is designed to provide essential knowledge of outpatient therapeutic approaches in breast cancer care. A comprehensive review of current diagnostic, surgical, radiation, reconstructive and medical oncologic management for breast cancer is included. Special attention is given to the evaluation and treatment of axillary web syndrome/cording, postural and scapular dysfunction as well as upper quarter soft tissue changes following breast cancer surgery and radiation therapy. Instruction is provided through lecture, case studies, lab, and digital video presentations. Each day will be divided into two sections: theoretical and hands-on application.
Tuition:$495.00 (includes course handouts); full amount due at time of registration. $100.00 is non-refundable; no refunds will be given in case of cancellation less than 3 weeks before class.

Metro Rail
The Metro rail is an easy, inexpensive way to get downtown from the airport in about 30 minutes. Metro Rail stations are located in Terminals 1 and 2. Trains run every 10-15 minutes. If you are staying at the Sheraton, you can call their shuttle to pick you up at one of the stops. Take the northbound train towards downtown. When the train arrives at the stop for the VA Medical Center (one of the first stops), call the hotel shuttle at 612-366-8485 and you will be told which stop you should get off at to meet the shuttle; the stop varies depending on the location of the shuttle at the time of your call. Metro rail fare is $1.75 non-peak; $2.25 peak.
